KARL STORZ Interactive Product Platform
Overview: During the pandemic, when in-person medical tech conferences were not feasible, I led the design and development of an interactive online platform to showcase KARL STORZ’s endoscopic product range. The virtual format allowed us to effectively engage surgeons, purchasing agents, and medical buyers, providing them with a compelling and user-friendly experience. Specifically designed for desktops and tablets, the platform catered to hospital procurement professionals who primarily use these devices for acquiring medical technology equipment. Desktops and tablets offer larger screens, robust processing power, and enhanced security, which are crucial for detailed product comparisons, comprehensive analyses, and seamless integration with hospital systems. These features also ensured compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, safeguarding sensitive patient and financial data. I led the UI/UX design process from concept to execution, ensuring seamless user interaction and intuitive navigation. In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, I aligned design elements with brand guidelines and user experience best practices. The platform was deployed using Adobe’s Publish Online feature, optimizing accessibility and functionality across desktop and mobile devices. Through the strategic use of interactive design principles and multimedia integration, we enhanced product visibility and customer engagement. The platform received positive feedback for its user-friendly interface and impactful visual presentation, contributing to increased user engagement and product awareness within the healthcare community.
